Food, Friends & Service
As
part of one of my Gonzaga classes, I created a multimedia web page for a
non-profit. St. Ann's Kitchen provides food for
the needy.
I focused on the community aspect of the Kitchen. The friendly atmosphere is a place where everyone is wanted and needed. The food is homemade and nourishing. When in town, stop by for a bite and lend a helping hand Happy Tails LodgeI talked with the owner of the Happy Tails Lodge about how she wanted to re-brand her pet lodge. Together, we created a web site that reflected her store. In the process, I helped the owner how to take ownership of the web design process and learn how to change photos and text to keep a fresh online presence.

Fiber Arts into Modern Era
The
Great Falls
Spinners & Weavers Guild needed a web page. After learning how to
create webpages in my class, I set to work to make a user-friendly website for
my guild.
We now have a way to provide quick accessible information for the public about upcoming guild events as well as general information. We also provide vital information about our upcoming biannual state Montana Association of Weavers & Spinners Convention. MAWS - Convention
Created an integrated webpage for the Montana Association of Weavers and Spinners (MAWS) for their Bi-Annual Convention. It listed the accommodations, instructors, classes, restaurants, and allowed participants to register online for the first time.

Communication Audit
I
examined the ways and modes of how the Montana/Northern Wyoming Partnership
communicated, seeking opportunities for technology improvements.
Active Learning
: Active Learning is a fundamental component
of Active Training. Understanding how the brain works makes communication
easier with fewer “lost threads”. For
successful learning to take place, messages need to be clear and direct with a
strong community supporting the learner.

Transformational LeadershipWith
the breakdown of communication, leadership roles can dramatically change. The
case study of the Montana Association of Weavers & Spinners 2012 Convention,
examines organizational decisions and the unintended consequences of those choices.
Challenger Sales - Remote Group Project
Our
group members were spread across all time zones working with various
technologies to pool our resources from which I created this Prezi model. As we
learned about the different technologies, we taught each other about what we
learned. We had a fantastic opportunity learning about how Challenger Sales worked
and how to successfully implement the concept into organizations.
